The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Churchland Truckers (Portsmouth, VA) and the visiting Norcom Greyhounds (Portsmouth, VA), observed Churchland's basketball team overcome Norcom by a score of 61-42.

The Truckers (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lafayette (Williamsburg, VA). The Rams come into the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Lafayette defeated York (Yorktown, VA), 48-40, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Greyhounds battle the Lakeland Cavaliers (Suffolk, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 21. Norcom will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 60-45 non-league loss to Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA).
