In Wednesday's non-league test, the Zuni Thunderbirds (Zuni, NM) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Navajo Pine Warriors (Navajo, NM), by a score of 58-46.
Next, the Thunderbirds clash with the Laguna Acoma Hawks (New Laguna, NM) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, January 7. Zuni will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record.
The Warriors (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Ramah (Ramah, NM). The Mustangs come into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Ramah went down by Tohatchi (Tohatchi, NM), 66-25, in a non-league test.
