The Naples Classical Academy basketball squad (Naples, FL), was routed 69-18 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Everglades City Gators (Everglades City, FL)

The Gators (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Donahue Catholic (Ave Maria, FL). The Shamrocks come into the 1A District 12 challenge with a 7-2 record. In their last challenge, Donahue Catholic was routed by Neumann (Naples, FL), 67-61, in a non-league battle.

The Academy now own a 0-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marco Island Academy for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 6.
