The Hampton Crabbers basketball team scored 66 points and limited the visiting Phoebus Phantoms to 49 in the Crabbers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Crabbers now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Menchville for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 30. Hampton will clash with a Monarchs squad coming off a 46-41 non-league win over Heritage (Newport News, VA). The Monarchs record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Phoebus falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Phantoms travel to Norcom (Portsmouth, VA) to confront the Greyhounds in a non-league game on Saturday, December 20. The Greyhounds go into the game with a record of 2-3. Norcom won 83-54 in their recent non-league game against Norview (Norfolk, VA)
