The Belvidere North Blue Thunder basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting McHenry Warriors to 38 in the Blue Thunder non-league triumph on Monday.
The Blue Thunder now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Huntley for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 27. Belvidere North will meet a Red Raiders team coming off a 64-48 league win over Crystal Lake South (Crystal Lake, IL). The Red Raiders record now stands at 9-2.
The Warriors (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Phillips (Chicago, IL). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Phillips triumphed over Leo (Chicago, IL), 78-44, in a non-league contest.
