Bishop Heelan Catholic Crusaders (Sioux City, IA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Le Mars Bulldogs (Le Mars, IA), 53-30 in a league bout.

With the win, Bishop Heelan Catholic upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Crusaders host Unity Christian (Orange City, IA) to clash with the Knights in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Unity Christian lost 67-64 in their recent league bout against Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn (Hartley, IA)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Harrisburg Tigers (Harrisburg, SD) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Le Mars will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record.
