The Columbus Academy Vikings (Gahanna, OH) basketball knocked off the visiting Buckeye Valley Barons (Delaware, OH), 45-29 in Monday's league test.
The Vikings (7-0) will now prepare for their test against Elgin (Marion, OH). The Comets go into the non-league test with a 4-3 record.
The Barons now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Bexley for a Mid-State - Ohio test on Thursday, December 22. Buckeye Valley will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 48-42 league win over Grandview Heights (Columbus, OH). The Lions record now stands at 4-2.
