Bunker Hill Minutemen (Bunker Hill, IL) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Calhoun Warriors (Hardin, IL), 63-58 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bunker Hill upgrades its record to 2-6 on the season. The Minutemen host Hillsboro (Hillsboro, IL) to play the Hiltoppers in a non-league bout on Monday, December 26. The Hiltoppers go into the bout with a record of 6-5.

Next up, the Warriors play the Brown County Hornets (Mt. Sterling, IL) in a Western Illinois Valley bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Calhoun will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 7-3 record after their 56-41 non-league loss to Beardstown (Beardstown, IL).
