The Columbus Wildcats basketball team (Columbus Junction, IA), was overwhelmed 68-46 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Central Lee Hawks (Donnellson, IA)

The Hawks now possess a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Holy Trinity Catholic for a SEI - South battle on Friday, January 6. Central Lee will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 71-36 non-league win over Highland (Ewing, MO). The Crusaders record now stands at 3-6.

The Wildcats (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against Dunkerton (Dunkerton, IA). The Raiders come into the non-league battle with a 6-0 record. In their last battle, Dunkerton trounced Denver (Denver, IA), 84-66, in a non-league battle.
