The Chilhowie Warriors basketball team scored 88 points and restricted the visiting Tazewell Bulldogs to 53 in the Warriors non-league victory on Monday.
The Warriors now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Marion for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 22. Chilhowie will battle a Scarlet Hurricanes team coming off a 57-52 non-league loss to Chilhowie (Chilhowie, VA). The Scarlet Hurricanes record now stands at 4-4.
The Bulldogs (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against River View (Bradshaw, WV). The Raiders come into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, River View triumphed over Hurley (Hurley, VA), 60-48, in a non-league contest.
