The Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD) basketball crushed the host Patuxent Panthers (Lusby, MD), 78-41 in Monday's league test.

The Braves (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD). The Cavaliers go into the Southern Maryland test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, Calvert was trounced by Northern (Owings, MD), 64-55, in a league test.

The Panthers now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they host La Plata for a Southern Maryland test on Wednesday, December 21. Patuxent will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 62-54 non-league loss to St. Charles (Waldorf, MD). The Warriors record now stands at 1-2.
