Turners Falls Thunder (Montague, MA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Mohawk Trail Regional Warriors (Buckland, MA), 62-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Turners Falls upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Thunder host Greenfield (Greenfield, MA) to play the Green Wave in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 21. The Green Wave go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Greenfield won 50-46 in their recent league bout against Lenox Memorial (Lenox, MA)

Next up, the Warriors play the Smith Academy Falcons (Hatfield, MA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 22. Mohawk Trail Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
