Montgomery Cougars (Skillman, NJ) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host West Windsor-Plainsboro South Pirates (Princeton Junction, NJ), 78-75 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Montgomery upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Cougars host Princeton Day (Princeton, NJ) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Princeton Day won 64-62 in their recent non-league bout against Nottingham (Hamilton, NJ)

Next up, the Pirates play the Robbinsville Ravens (Robbinsville, NJ) in a Colonial Valley bout, on Tuesday, December 20. West Windsor-Plainsboro South will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Ravens go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 71-52 non-league win over Trenton Catholic Academy (Trenton, NJ).
