The Palmerton Blue Bombers basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Northern Lehigh Bulldogs to 21 in the Blue Bombers league triumph on Monday.

The Blue Bombers now sport a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Catasauqua for a Colonial - West contest on Wednesday, December 21. Palmerton will battle a Rough Riders team coming off a 43-31 league loss to Northwestern Lehigh (New Tripoli, PA). The Rough Riders record now stands at 1-6.

The Bulldogs (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Southern Lehigh (Center Valley, PA). The Spartans enter the Colonial - West contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Southern Lehigh triumphed over Salisbury Township (Allentown, PA), 44-28, in a league contest.
