The Randolph-Henry Statesmen basketball team (Charlotte Court House, VA), was overwhelmed 61-35 in Monday's league battle with the host Prince Edward County Eagles (Farmville, VA)

The Eagles now possess a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Halifax County for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 27. Prince Edward County will battle a Comets team coming off a 54-41 non-league loss to Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA). The Comets record now stands at 2-6.

The Statesmen (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against Fuqua (Farmville, VA). The Falcons come into the non-league battle with a 0-6 record.
