Navajo Prep Eagles (Farmington, NM) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Shiprock Chieftains (Shiprock, NM), 51-38 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Navajo Prep upgrades its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Monday, December 19. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 2-2.

Next up, the Chieftains play the Durango Demons (Durango, CO) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 19. Shiprock will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Demons come into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 43-19 non-league win over Montezuma-Cortez (Cortez, CO).
