Bolton Bulldogs (Bolton, CT) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Coventry Patriots (Coventry, CT), 40-28 in a league bout.

With the victory, Bolton upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Windham RVT (Willimantic, CT) to play the Mighty Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 23. The Mighty Tigers come into the bout with a record of 3-1.

Next up, the Patriots play the Lyman Memorial Bulldogs (Lebanon, CT) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Coventry will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 57-25 league win over Wheeler (North Stonington, CT).
