With the victory, Buckingham improves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Nottoway (Nottoway, VA) to confront the Cougars in a James River challenge on Wednesday, January 4. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 1-4. Nottoway lost 39-34 in their recent league challenge against Amelia County (Amelia Court House, VA)

Next up, the Eagles confront the Halifax County Comets (South Boston, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 27. Prince Edward County will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Comets come into the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 51-18 non-league loss to Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA).
