The Escambia Gators basketball team (Pensacola, FL), was routed 43-5 in Monday's league battle with the visiting Choctawhatchee Indians (Fort Walton Beach, FL)
The Indians now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Paxton for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 3. Choctawhatchee will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 40-30 non-league loss to Ponce De Leon (Ponce De Leon, FL). The Bobcats record now stands at 7-6.
The Gators (0-11) will now prepare for their battle against Milton (Milton, FL). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Milton trounced West Florida (Pensacola, FL), 46-42, in a non-league battle.
