Rhode Island High School Basketball - Cumberland overwhelmed by Mount St. Charles Academy

The Cumberland Clippers basketball team (Cumberland, RI), was overwhelmed 59-38 in Monday's league battle with the visiting Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties (Woonsocket, RI)

The Mounties now possess a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Greenwich for a Division 2 battle on Thursday, December 22. Mount St. Charles Academy will battle a Avengers team coming off a 67-11 league win over Woonsocket (Woonsocket, RI). The Avengers record now stands at 2-1.

The Clippers (0-4) will now prepare for their battle against Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI). The Chargers come into the Division 2 battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Chariho trounced East Greenwich (East Greenwich, RI), 57-40, in a league battle.
