In their next game, the Vikings face the Christiansburg Blue Demons (Christiansburg, VA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, January 3. Northside will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Blue Demons come into the battle with a 7-3 record after their 60-47 league loss to Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA).

The Highlanders (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against Auburn (Riner, VA). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, Auburn prevailed over Grayson County (Independence, VA), 53-18, in a league battle.
