The New Caney Eagles basketball team (New Caney, TX), was routed 62-15 in Monday's league bout with the host Grand Oaks Grizzlies (Spring, TX)

With the win, Grand Oaks upgrades its record to 15-6 on the season. The Grizzlies travel to Conroe (Conroe, TX) to clash with the Tigers in a 6A Region II District 13 bout on Friday, December 30. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 7-11. Conroe won 41-11 in their recent league bout against New Caney (New Caney, TX)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Cleveland Indians (Cleveland, TX) in a 6A Region II District 13 bout, on Friday, December 30. New Caney will attempt to upgrade on its 6-14 season record.
