Hampden Broncos (Hampden, ME) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Portland Bulldogs (Portland, ME), 47-24 in a league bout.

With the win, Hampden upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Broncos travel to Brewer (Brewer, ME) to clash with the Witches in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Witches go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Brewer won 49-36 in their recent league bout against Messalonskee (Oakland, ME)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Cheverus Stags (Portland, ME) in a AA North bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Portland will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Stags go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 79-38 non-league win over Westbrook (Westbrook, ME).
