In Monday's league outing, the Leakey Eagles (Leakey, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Knippa Crushers (Knippa, TX), by a count of 48-25.
The Eagles (3-2) will now prepare for their outing against Comfort (Comfort, TX). The Bobcats/Deer go into the non-league outing with a 0-7 record. In their last outing, Comfort was crushed by Rocksprings (Rocksprings, TX), 55-42, in a non-league outing.
The Crushers now hold a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to Medina for a 1A Region IV District 31 outing on Tuesday, January 3.
