The Lake Highlands Wildcats (Dallas, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting MacArthur Cardinals (Irving, TX), 49-41 in Monday's league test.

The Wildcats (4-11) will now prepare for their test against Berkner (Richardson, TX). The Rams go into the 6A Region I District 7 test with a 8-2 record. In their last test, Berkner went down by Highland Park (Dallas, TX), 69-25, in a league test.

The Cardinals now own a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to Coppell for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 28. MacArthur will encounter a Cowboys squad coming off a 45-43 league win over Lewisville (Lewisville, TX). The Cowboys record now stands at 20-0.
