New Glarus Glarner Knights (New Glarus, WI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Mineral Point Pointers (Mineral Point, WI), 59-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, New Glarus upgrades its record to 7-0 on the season. The Glarner Knights travel to Waterloo (Waterloo, WI) to clash with the Pirates in a Capitol - South bout on Thursday, January 5. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 8-2.
