The Mountain Lakes Lakers basketball team scored 31 points and held the visiting Parsippany Redhawks to 29 in the Lakers non-league triumph on Monday.

The Lakers now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boonton for a Freelance contest on Wednesday, December 21. Mountain Lakes will meet a Bombers team coming off a 56-27 league win over Whippany Park (Whippany, NJ). The Bombers record now stands at 1-0.

The Redhawks (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Villa Walsh Academy (Morristown, NJ). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Villa Walsh Academy nudged Whippany Park (Whippany, NJ), 53-50, in a league contest.
