Fans at Monday's league challenge between the North Butler Bearcats (Greene, IA) and the host Nashua-Plainfield Huskies (Nashua, IA), saw North Butler's basketball squad knock off Nashua-Plainfield by a tally of 43-33.
With the victory, North Butler improves its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to BCLUW (Conrad, IA) to play the Comets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 20. The Comets come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. BCLUW won 29-14 in their recent non-league challenge against Colo-NESCO (Colo, IA)
Next up, the Huskies play the Riceville Wildcats (Riceville, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Nashua-Plainfield will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record.
