North Kansas City Hornets (North Kansas City, MO) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Oak Park Northmen (Kansas City, MO), 44-34 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, North Kansas City upgrades its record to 1-5 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Central (St. Joseph, MO) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Monday, January 2. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 1-3. Central lost 57-35 in their recent league bout against Truman (Independence, MO)
Next up, the Northmen play the Truman Patriots (Independence, MO) in a Suburban - Red bout, on Friday, January 6. Oak Park will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record.
