Mira Costa Mustangs (Manhattan Beach, CA) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Redondo Union Sea Hawks (Redondo Beach, CA), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs confront the Culver City Centaurs (Culver City, CA) in a Bay challenge, on Wednesday, January 4. Mira Costa will attempt to better on its 6-1 season record. The Centaurs enter the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 0-0 non-league Warren (Downey, CA).

The Sea Hawks now have a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Palos Verdes for a Bay challenge on Tuesday, January 3.
