Christian Family Academy Fire (Hickory, NC) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Nebo Crossing Academy Bulldogs (Nebo, NC), 40-15 in a league bout.

With the win, Christian Family Academy upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Fire host Lake Lure Classical Academy (Lake Lure, NC) to play the Raptors in a bout on Friday, January 6. The Raptors go into the bout with a record of 6-2. Lake Lure Classical Academy lost 41-30 in their recent league bout against The Master's Academy (Forest City, NC)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Community Christian Academy Warriors (Bessemer City, NC) in a bout, on Friday, January 6. Nebo Crossing Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 12-0 record after their 54-28 league win over The Master's Academy (Forest City, NC).
