With the victory, Giles improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Spartans host Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA) to battle the Pioneers in a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 21. The Pioneers come into the battle with a record of 4-0.

The Mustangs (1-6) will now prepare for their battle against Rural Retreat (Rural Retreat, VA). The Indians come into the non-league battle with a 1-3 record.
