The River View Raiders basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Hurley Rebels to 48 in the Raiders non-league victory on Monday.
The Raiders now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tazewell for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 20.
The Rebels (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Castlewood (Castlewood, VA). The Blue Devils come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Castlewood dropped by Patrick Henry (Glade Spring, VA), 55-7, in a non-league contest.
