The North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC) basketball crushed the host West Columbus Vikings (Cerro Gordo, NC), 73-50 in Monday's non-league test.
The Scorpions (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Topsail (Hampstead, NC). The Pirates go into the non-league test with a 3-6 record. In their last test, Topsail was trounced by Apex Friendship (Apex, NC), 62-30, in a non-league test.
The Vikings now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Union for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 20. West Columbus will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 73-38 non-league loss to Spring Creek (Seven Springs, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 0-5.
