The Newberg Tigers basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Aloha Warriors to 44 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 27. Newberg will battle a Panthers team coming off a 55-54 non-league loss to Cascade (Turner, OR). The Panthers record now stands at 1-3.
The Warriors (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Dallas (Dallas, OR). The Dragons enter the non-league contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Dallas was routed by Elma (Elma, WA), 48-45, in a non-league contest.
