Texas High School Basketball - Angleton trounced by Friendswood

December 19, 2023: Friendswood, TX 77546

In Tuesday's league match, the host Friendswood Mustangs basketball team scored a decisive 62-35 triumph over the Angleton Wildcats.

In their next game, the Mustangs meet the Clear Creek Wildcats (League City, TX) in a non-league match, on Thursday, December 21. Friendswood will attempt to move on its 11-5 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 14-7 record after their 61-58 non-league win over Klein Collins (Spring, TX).

With the defeat, Angleton moves to 8-11 on the year. The Wildcats host Santa Fe (Santa Fe, TX) to meet the Indians in a 5A Region III District 18 match on Friday, January 5. The Indians enter the match with a record of 8-10. Santa Fe lost 76-52 in their recent league match against Ball (Galveston, TX)
