Argyle Eagles (Argyle, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Colleyville Heritage Panthers (Colleyville, TX), 51-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Argyle upgrades its record to 17-1 on the season. The Eagles travel to Birdville (North Richland Hills, TX) to clash with the Hawks in a 5A Region I District 7 bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 11-4.

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Liberty Redhawks (Frisco, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Colleyville Heritage will attempt to upgrade on its 13-3 season record. The Redhawks go into the bout with a 4-11 record after their 70-58 league win over Emerson (McKinney, TX).
