Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Rider Raiders (Wichita Falls, TX) and the host Azle Hornets (Azle, TX), saw Rider's basketball squad overcome Azle by a tally of 55-40.

With the victory, Rider improves its record to 6-9 on the campaign. The Raiders host Granbury (Granbury, TX) to confront the Pirates in a 5A Region I District 5 challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 8-4.

Next up, the Hornets confront the Everman Bulldogs (Everman, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 28. Azle will attempt to improve on its 2-13 season record.
