Iowa High School Basketball - GMG can't hold off Baxter

The Baxter basketball team scored 66 points and held the host GMG Wolverines to 61 in the non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Janesville for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 2. Baxter will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 71-56 league loss to Dunkerton (Dunkerton, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-3.
The Wolverines (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Dunkerton (Dunkerton, IA). The Raiders enter the Iowa Star contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Dunkerton nudged Janesville (Janesville, IA), 71-56, in a league contest.
