Varsity Opponent (, ) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Brittain Academy Warriors (Thomasville, NC), 39-20 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Varsity Opponent upgrades its record to 181-676 on the season. The travel to Cumberland Christian Home Educators (Somerset, KY) to play the Hawks in a Freelance bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 10-5.

Next up, the Warriors play the Varsity Opponent (, ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 21. Brittain Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The go into the bout with a 182-683 record after their 65-39 non-league win over Wesley Christian (Allen, KY).
