The Brookland Bearcats (Brookland, AR) basketball knocked off the host Valley View Blazers (Jonesboro, AR), 65-49 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Bearcats (9-3) will now prepare for their test against Blytheville (Blytheville, AR). The Chickasaws go into the non-league test with a 3-6 record. In their last test, Blytheville notched a victory over Highland (Hardy, AR), 58-55, in a league test.
The Blazers now own a 7-5 record. They play next when they host Batesville for a 5A East test on Friday, January 5.
