Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Pekin Dragons (Pekin, IL) and the visiting Canton Little Giants (Canton, IL), saw Pekin's basketball squad knock off Canton by a count of 42-23.

With the victory, Pekin upgrades its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Chicago Mt. Carmel (Chicago, IL) to play the Caravan in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 27. The Caravan come into the challenge with a record of 11-2.

Next up, the Little Giants play the Macomb Bombers (Macomb, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 22. Canton will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Bombers come into the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 63-43 non-league win over Argenta-Oreana (Argenta, IL).
