Souderton Indians (Souderton, PA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Central Bucks West Bucks (Doylestown, PA), 43-42 in a league bout.

With the victory, Souderton upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Indians host Bensalem (Bensalem, PA) to play the Fighting Owls in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 21. The Fighting Owls come into the bout with a record of 5-1. Bensalem won 46-44 in their recent league bout against Neshaminy (Langhorne, PA)

Next up, the Bucks play the Council Rock North Indians (Newtown, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 22. Central Bucks West will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 42-41 league win over Pennsbury (Fairless Hills, PA).
