The Chesaning Indians basketball team scored 43 points and held the host Ovid-Elsie Marauders to 38 in the Indians league triumph on Tuesday.

The Indians now sport a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bridgeport for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 3. Chesaning will meet a Bearcats team coming off a 68-57 league loss to Freeland (Freeland, MI). The Bearcats record now stands at 0-4.

The Marauders (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Charlotte (Charlotte, MI). The Orioles enter the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Charlotte nudged Stockbridge (Stockbridge, MI), 48-40, in a non-league contest.
