The Upper Darby Royals basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting Conestoga Pioneers to 40 in the Royals league triumph on Tuesday.

The Royals now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ridley for a Central contest on Thursday, December 21. Upper Darby will battle a Raiders team coming off a 85-49 league loss to Lower Merion (Ardmore, PA). The Raiders record now stands at 1-4.

The Pioneers (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Garnet Valley (Glen Mills, PA). The Jaguars enter the Central contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Garnet Valley nudged Haverford (Havertown, PA), 51-40, in a league contest.
