The Cook Hornets basketball team (Adel, GA), was nudged 59-54 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Tift County Blue Devils (Tifton, GA)

The Blue Devils now possess a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Perry for a non-league battle on Friday, December 22. Tift County will confront a Panthers team coming off a 60-46 non-league win over Hawkinsville (Hawkinsville, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-4.

The Hornets (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against Crisp County (Cordele, GA). The Cougars come into the non-league battle with a 5-1 record.
