In Tuesday's league match, the visiting West Point Green Wave basketball team scored a tight 45-44 triumph over the Corinth Warriors.

In their next game, the Green Wave meet the Itawamba Agricultural Indians (Fulton, MS) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 29. West Point will attempt to move on its 8-4 season record.

With the defeat, Corinth moves to 5-6 on the year. The Warriors travel to Tishomingo County (Iuka, MS) to meet the Braves in a non-league match on Thursday, December 21. The Braves enter the match with a record of 4-8. Tishomingo County lost 46-44 in their recent non-league match against Hardin County (Savannah, TN)
