Lake Linden-Hubbell Lakes (Lake Linden, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Dollar Bay Bays (Dollar Bay, MI), 66-59 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lake Linden-Hubbell upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Lakes travel to Jeffers (Painesdale, MI) to play the Jets in a Copper Mountain - Copper County bout on Thursday, December 21. The Jets come into the bout with a record of 5-0. Jeffers won 85-22 in their recent league bout against L'Anse (L'Anse, MI)

Next up, the Bays play the Stephenson Eagles (Stephenson, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 21. Dollar Bay will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 56-38 non-league loss to North Dickinson (Felch, MI).
