The Martensdale-St. Mary's Blue Devils basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting East Union Eagles to 57 in the Blue Devils league triumph on Tuesday.

The Blue Devils now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mount Ayr for a Pride of Iowa contest on Friday, January 5. Martensdale-St. Mary's will battle a Raiders team coming off a 81-40 league win over Nodaway Valley (Greenfield, IA). The Raiders record now stands at 6-3.

The Eagles (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Lamoni (Lamoni, IA). The Demons enter the non-league contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Lamoni was nudged by Murray (Murray, IA), 59-21, in a league contest.
