Economedes Jaguars (Edinburg, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting San Perlita Trojans (San Perlita, TX), 53-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Economedes upgrades its record to 10-9 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Grulla (Rio Grande City, TX) to play the Gators in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Gators go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Grulla won 50-46 in their recent league bout against La Feria (La Feria, TX)

Next up, the Trojans play the Economedes Jaguars (Edinburg, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 2. San Perlita will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record.
